Smoke Tube Heat Exchangers
Thanks to our experience and design capabilities, we manufacture smoke tube heat exchangers, available in both horizontal and vertical configurations, for the production of hot water, superheated water or steam. Each solution is developed to measure based on specific customer requirements, ensuring maximum thermal efficiency, reliability and long life.

Structural Characteristics
Each heat exchanger is configurable according to plant requirements; in particular, based on the type of installation and heating fluid, you can choose:

- Tube diameter
- Flue gas inlet with or without firebox
- Geometry of flue gas inlet and outlet chambers

Energy Efficiency Solutions
Ahena heat exchangers, used as economizers, allow thermal energy recovery by maximizing the overall efficiency of the systems in which they are installed.

Customization and Dedicated Design
Each Ahena heat exchanger is custom designed according to specific application requirements:

- Optimized sizing: calculation of heat exchange surfaces and geometries
- Configuration of connections: customization of flanges and fittings according to plant requirements
- Instrumentation integration: possibility to supply all necessary accessories for operation
- Dedicated structural supports: design of specific support and anchoring systems for each installation
Regulatory Compliance and Operational Safety
Ahena heat exchangers are designed and built in compliance with the most rigorous international standards according to the required operating conditions

- Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU (PED), with classification in Category IV
- Machinery Directive 2006/42/CE
Each heat exchanger can be supplied complete with all safety accessories required by law

- Safety valves in accordance with ISPESL/INAIL standards
- Safety pressure switches and thermostats
- Steam accessory sets for 24h or 48h surveillance
For all PED-compliant heat exchangers, design, production and testing are carried out under the supervision of a Notified Body to ensure full compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
